David N. Moon, FAIA, FACHA | Vice President/President Elect

With over 25 years of experience in the planning, design and construction of health facilities, Mr. Moon is ACHA Board Certified in the specialty of Healthcare Architecture. His passion for creating therapeutic environments has been at the forefront of his firm's practice, and he has made the design of quality healthcare projects his personal mission.

Mr. Moon has served on numerous national healthcare design juries, and his projects have been featured in major healthcare architectural publications. He is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, Fellow and Past-Regent of The American College of Healthcare Architects, Past President of the AIA National Academy of Architecture for Health, and Past-Chair of the AIA California Council Health Facilities Committee.

Mr. Moon is the Managing Principal of Moon Mayoras Architects, Inc., located in San Diego, California. 100% of the firm's work is currently related to the programming, design and construction of healthcare facilities.
